Care Instructions

The Dos and Don'ts of Tape-In Maintenance & Aftercare

Do:

Schedule move-up appointments every 4-6 weeks to avoid added weight and tension from your grown-out hair. This could lead to premature slippage and breakage, which we don't have time for.
Use Donna Bella Replacement, Easy-Release, or Single Sided Tape for all maintenance care installation to ensure the best results.
For smooth and easy removals, fully saturate each Tape-In bond weft with Donna Bella Extension Bond Remover and wait five seconds before gently removing the extension from the natural hair.
Remove the weft in a downward motion toward the natural hair to avoid unnecessary tension on the hair, which can cause damage.

Don't:

Wash your hair after a fresh install. We recommend you wait 72 hours to allow the Tape-In bonds to fully adhere to the natural hair set properly.
Pull or tug the weft out of the natural hair. If you are having trouble with removal, we recommend spraying more remover as needed.
Remove the weft by pulling from left to right. You want to remove each weft by pulling downward toward the natural hair for a swift and easy removal.

I usta but cheap ones off Amazon they were good for one wash then they turned into a matted mess. It about made me crazy..I spent a little more bought these and no matting so I'm much happier!! Ya get what ya spend and these are great!!

I love this hair and colors I got work great with my hair, but The only reason I hesitate to buy Donna Bella tape in extensions is Although they are so durable at the tape area, they are also very uncomfortable and as they grow out, they are even more uncomfortable! I really like the quality of hair, but do not like feeling like I’m wearing a wig or clip ins! I would much rather have the best of both worlds with the great hair you provide and the strength of the tape in part but less bulky and less weight! I have been wearing tapes for many years now and loved the hothead hair just as much, but Their tape in part was much more comfortable, but the reason I switched is that they would break a lot! I wish you could figure out something lighter/Less heavy and bulky that doesn’t rip🙏🏻❗️💕
