Learn the basics of Donna Bella's
easy-to-use Clip-In Hair Extensions!
Step-by-step
Prep: Make sure hair is clean and brushed thoroughly. Some women with finer hair find that their Clip-In extensions stay in more securely when they back comb their roots before clipping the extensions in.

Step 1: Make a horizontal part 2 inches above the nape of your neck. Lift the hair above the part and secure with Gator Clips. Position one of the six-inch pieces below the part, clips facing in. Snap the center clips, then snap the two outer clips into place.

Step 2: Make another horizontal part one inch above the first row. Lift the hair above the part and secure the hair with Gator Clips. Position the second seven-inch piece below the part. Snap the center clips, then snap the two outer clips into place.

Step 3: Make another horizontal part one inch above the second row and secure the hair with Gator Clips. Position the nine-inch piece below the part. Snap the center clips, then snap the two outer clips into place.

Step 4: Make another horizontal part one inch above the third row and secure the hair with Gator Clips. Position the six-inch piece below the part. First snap the center clip, then snap the two outer clips.

Step 5: Use the four single clips on the sides of the head. Create a horizontal part and position the clips as desired to create fuller sides.

Step 6: Style as usual!

Hair Care
Clip-In Extensions Care: The better you take care of your hair extensions, the longer they will last!
Don't forget to brush your extensions! This reduces tangles and keeps your extensions looking great.
Avoid using products that contain sulfates. Sulfates will damage your hair extensions. Use our sulfate-free Remy Care™ line to care for your extensions and help them last.
If you use heat products on your hair extensions, use a heat protectant first. If your hair extensions are synthetic, use low heat settings to avoid damaging the extensions.
Wash your extensions after using them 3 to 4 times, especially if you're using a lot of styling products. It's best to let your extensions air dry.
