Hybrid Weft Hair Extensions

What are Hybrid Wefts?

Hybrid Wefts are one of the most popular extension methods on the market today. These wefts give you a thin base (like hand tied wefts) and great volume (like machine tied). That’s why you’ll often hear them referred to as “the best of both worlds.”

Why are you launching new Hybrid Wefts?

Your feedback matters to us! We knew you wanted more lengths and more comfortable options, so we made some upgrades. Our new wefts feature 2 new lengths plus a better design that’s lightweight, sleek, robust and strong.

What’s new about these Hybrid Wefts?

Enhanced Seam Design and Anti-Shedding Technology

The seam at the top has a revolutionary enhanced design so it’s more sleek and comfortable. There’s no bulky strip of hair there any more (what’s sometimes called “return hair” or a “mustache”). What’s great about this? With no protruding strands of hair near your scalp, there’s no discomfort, irritation, or matting of the hair, and it’s even cleaner for your stylist to install. Additionally, the top of each weft is sealed with polyurethane (similar to our Tape-Ins), with a seam that is stronger and smaller than the previous design.

New Lengths

We’ve been carrying 18” and 22” wefts for a while now, and you’ve been asking for more options, so here they are! Our new Hybrid Wefts also come in 14” and 24”. The 14” are great for those with short to medium hair (bobs, lobs, etc.) who want to add fullness or assist with the growing out phase as you move toward a longer hairstyle. The 24” work great for adding maximum length and filling in on the sides or adding volume to layers.

Better Bundles for a Faster Install

Stylists, you’re going to love this! Our new wefts come with sectioned bundles of hair per pack, making them even easier to work with when you’re installing. These wefts also feature anti-shedding technology for the strongest bonds and most secure wear. Each half pack has 2 bundles of hair and each full pack has 3.

Is the hair quality still the same?

Yes! All our new wefts have 100% virgin Remy human hair which is the best quality you can find on the market. The hair cuticles are intact and they’ve been kept that way (with all strands running the same direction) from collection through production all the way to install. Because the hair has been kept with the cuticles intact throughout the entire process, it makes the quality higher, keeps the hair from tangling, and makes it move naturally when you wear it. This is long lasting, smooth, shiny hair that doesn’t tangle or get matted– and you can wash and style it just like you would your natural hair.

How many packs should I buy?

It’s always better to have extra hair on hand than it is to run out, and especially if this is your first time wearing extensions, we recommend buying an extra pack. Here’s a buying guide for how much hair to get:

Hybrid Wefts – How Many Hair Extension Packs You Need

Fine Hair: Half pack

Medium Hair: 1 full pack

Thick Hair: 1.5 packs

Keep in mind, the thicker your hair is, the more hair extension packs you'll need in order to match the density of your natural hair (otherwise, the ends can end up looking stringy).
