Removal & reinstallation: 1-2 times: Donna Bella Kera-Link Hair Extensions are installed using the Donna Bella Melting Connector and Donna Bella Protector Disks. Hair can be removed using Donna Bella Keratin Bond Remover and Hair Extension Tool. The Kera-Link Hair Extensions can be reinstalled using Donna Bella Rebonds.

Strand by strand method; no slippage: Donna Bella’s Kera-Link Hair Extensions are pre-tipped for easy application and removal. They are bonded to the hair using a strand-by-strand method. This allows for 360 degrees of natural hair movement for its wearers. This method of installation allows you to wear your hair up or down without exposing extension bonds. Because the Kera-Link bonds are fused to your own natural hair, there’s no chance of the hair extensions falling out.

Long-Lasting: Donna Bella’s Kera-Link Extensions last 3-6 months and can be reused 1-2 times. The bonds can be removed, and new ones reapplied, allowing the hair extensions to be reinstalled.

Care Instructions

The Dos and Don'ts of Kera-Link Maintenance & Aftercare

Do:

  • Schedule move-up appointments every 4-6 weeks to avoid added weight and tension from your hair, which can lead to premature slippage.
  • Use Donna Bella Extension Bond Remover for easy removals.
  • Break up the keratin bonds with the Multi Method Tool before spraying Extension Bond Remover to ensure proper saturation before removal.
  • Fully saturate each bond with Extension Bond Remover, working as you go.
  • Gently comb out any leftover residue after the keratin bond has been removed from the natural hair.

Don't:

  • Use a non-recommended melting connector on the keratin bonds. We recommend using the DBH Melting connector to securely heat the bonds over the natural hair.
  • Apply remover before breaking the bond. Always break it up with the Multi Method Tool to allow the remover to saturate the bond properly before removing it from the natural hair.
  • Force the keratin bond out of the hair. If you have trouble with removal, continue breaking up the bond and adding more remover as needed until it gently glides out of the natural hair.
